Taylor Music Festival Faculty and Performer: Brent Wood

Brent Wood has been dancing since the age of 12 and has won 3 Eastern Regional Oireachtastes from 1995 to 1997. The Eastern region is the strongest region in the United States and the strongest area outside of the United Kingdom. Mr. Wood has also taken the TERG exams. He has performed with such notable Irish artists as The Chieftains, Eileen Ivers, Altan and others. He was also one of the founding members of Common Ground out of Florida. Mr.Wood has been teaching for 3 years and has students in Wilmington, Charleston and Atlanta.
