Kye-Won Kopko is the staff accompanist and choreographer at Gar-Field High School in Woodbridge, Virginia. She is also the Music Director for Contemporary services at St. Matthews Methodist Church and Worship Leader for First Baptist Church of Woodbridge. She studied Biology and sang in the Blair Chorale while attending Vanderbilt University. In Washington, she was a soloist for the Washington Women's Chorus under the direction of Don Richardson. While she has a passion for music, her first love is children, so she founded and and is the director of Theaterworks Virginia, a musical theater program. Her stage credits include favorite roles such as Maria (Sound of Music), Evita (Evita), Lily (Secret Garden), and touring as Gigi in Miss Saigon. She is thrilled at the opportunity to be performing with the Taylor Festival Choir.
