Melissa Camp is a native of Lake Chautauqua, New York.  She studied voice with Dr. Stephen Wilson at the State University of New York, Cortland, and Dr. Willard Cottrell at the College of Charleston where she received her BA in music education.  Ms. Camp has worked extensively in the Charleston and Colleton county schools in South Carolina teaching music at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Her current focus is on arts integration after she was awarded a DAP grant to improve the quality of education in Title One schools.  She has directed the junior and youth choirs at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Charleston, and Trinity Episcopal Church on Edisto Island.  Melissa resides on Edisto Beach, SC with her three sons, Quinn, Evan, Nathan, and daughter, Julia.
