Andrea Elizabeth Horath born in Champaign, Illinois, was raised in Georgetown, South Carolina.  She attended the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities at the age of 15 where she graduated with an Artists Diploma.  Since her attendance at the College of Charleston, Andrea has enjoyed performing in the Colleges many ensemble and solo opportunities.  She has been a soloist with the College of Charleston Concert Choir, Madrigal Singers, Footlight Players, and the Taylor Music Festival Choir.  She studies private voice with Deanna McBroom, and has enjoyed exploring many roles since her enrollment in 2005.  Andrea has also been seen with the Charleston Symphony Chorus as she participates regularly in the Spoleto USA and Piccolo Spoleto programs.  She plans to graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Voice Performance from the College of Charleston in May of 2009. Andrea is excited that she is undecided what the future has in store for her.
