Valerie Osborn is an Artist Certificate student at the College of Charleston where she is currently a student of Deanna McBroom. Ms. Osborn has participated in operatic productions at the College including The Marriage of Figaro and scenes from Faust, Die Zäuberflute, Lakme,La Boheme,Suor Angelica, and Die Fledermaus. In the summer of 2008, she traveled to Salzburg, Austria to study abroad with University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. There she studied with Dr. Lori Bade from Louisiana State Univeristy. She has also performed in choirs with the Charleston, Delaware and Hilton Head Symphony Orchestras. Valerie is a member and alto section leader of the College of Charleston Concert Choir and former member of the Madrigal Singers. She is also a staff singer at the FrenchHuguenotChurch in Charleston, SC. This is her third season singing with the Taylor Festival Choir.
